Hotel Review: Hyatt Regency Chicago (Chicago) | Passport Living - Travel for Life

Hyatt Regency Chicago

Written by Kelley | January, 15, 2010

Rating: ★★★½☆

Location: Chicago
Date of Stay: October 2008
Price We Paid: $165/night
Website: www.chicagoregency.hyatt.com

We had Hyatt gift certificates we had to use, so this hotel was our only choice in Chicago (the Park Hyatt was not an option with our certificates).  Location is by the river-a decent central location, though a little far from the nearest el station.  It turned out to be kind of a pain with luggage.

The Hyatt is a very large “convention” style hotel.  Families and conventioneers seem to be the main clientele here-the lobby area is busy and noisy.  Not really our style.  You can get lost wandering around, the hotel is so large.  It was a very long walk to the room.  The room itself was pleasantly decorated, if bland, with a comfortable bed.  Internet access was not free and quite expensive.

Would We Stay Here Again? Probably not

  1. How did you make this template? I got a blog as well and my template looks kinda bad so people don’t stay on my blog very long :/.

  2. I, Weszt, am a professional web designer which helps quite a bit. Thanks for asking!
